Siobhan – Office Manager

I was born and raised in a small farming town in Washington State. I received my Associates degree in Dental Assisting from Spokane Community College in 1990. I had the great opportunity to work in Spokane Washington, and Missoula Montana before meeting the love of my life and moving to Alaska in 1996. I have been both assisting and in management since arriving in Alaska and I love both aspects of dentistry. I have been with Alaska Smiles since 2005 and am proud to be involved with a group of very talented professionals with the common goal of providing optimal dental care in a very caring environment. I have two fantastic children. My son is 25, and my daughter is 17. My passion outside of work is family, church, horseback riding, camping, hiking, 4 wheeling, fishing, and anything outside in this great state.

My personal goal is to provide each individual with compassion and knowledge as we work together to find their individual path in attaining optimal oral health.

Michelle – Dental Hygiene

Michelle grew up in Nebraska where she attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry and received her Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene in 2010. She worked on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota, her first year out of school doing dental hygiene research where she really bonded with the Natives and saw a different aspect to dentistry. She moved to Alaska in 2014 looking for adventure away from the flat lands and has fallen in love with the state and the community Anchorage offers. When she isn’t exploring outside you may find her in a studio teaching aerial yoga or a cycle class. Michelle loves being active and brings her smile and enthusiasm into the dental field making patients feel comfortable. She loves to travel and has been to the Dominican Republic to provide free dental services and has partaken in several Mission of Mercy events. She has been with Alaska Smiles since she moved to Alaska in 2014 and believes everyone she works with is her second family
